Meeting - Time and Place
Attendees generally begin to gather for refreshments between 5:45 and 6:00 P.M., and meetings are called to order at about 6:15 P.M. We usually close by 8:00 P.M. but often linger for fellowship and more refreshments.
The Laffite Society generally meets on the second Tuesday of each month at
Edgewater Retirement Center, 23rd at Seawall, in Galveston, Texas.

We try to schedule a featured speaker or fun event at many of our meetings. We also discuss Laffite Society business matters at each meeting. Visitors are welcome to attend both of these segments; between them we take a short break to replenish our refreshments.
The one exception to the second-Tuesday meeting is our annual Christmas party, which may be slated for a different day of the month to better fit schedules during this busy time of year.
